The Road to Coding

I'm Aleksandra Marcela Ravn, so call me Marcela.

Originally from Chile and raised in Norway, I have a background in design through Fashion & Makeup, Clothing Design, Hairdressing educations.

After years in the service industry as a bartender and manager, seamstress and within retail, with Covid 19 and being at home it was time to explore new passions.

I wanted to learn something new and creative. Deciding to build upon my education and problem solving interests cultivated through video games and climbing - mixed together with my natural curiousity I decided to start study a year of UI- UX design and from there, into Coding and Web Development.

Coding & Web Development

The past 4 months I've worked on my skills with SheCodes workshops. Learning the process of coding through a good mix of theory and practic approach. I am currently working on completing their React course.

I have developed 1 web application and 4 webpages including my portfolio page, Here you can see my works.
